Feel Good Music
Maestra's craft provides family-friendly music therapy through Hip-Hop. “It’s gonna be alright” is an adopted phrase as a result of her growing up as a PK, or “Preacher’s Kid.” Throughout her youth, she witnessed many people receive healing through her grandfather's (Rev. Clarence L. Dandy) ministry. Today, the stage is where she receives her mental health therapy, and the goal is to give it back to the audience through Feel Good Music. By making it a point to collaborate with artists with similar objectives, Maestra develops a culture and movement to restore the necessity of Hip-Hop in society despite its sometimes negative connotations. The people need to “Feel Good.”
